Sunset Blues

The name booby originates from the Spanish word bobo meaning stupid or clown and refers to how clumsy the booby is on the land, the complete opposite to how they are in the air.

The very odd blue feet relate to the mating courtship of the Blue-footed Booby consisting of the male flaunting his blue feet and dancing to impress the female. During the dance, the male will spread his wings and stamp his feet on the ground.
