Sealion Pup

One week old and already a poser! This was taken on my first evening in the Galapagos just a few minutes before the sun went down.

The Galapagos Sea Lions are slightly smaller than their Californian relatives, ranging from 150 to 250 cm in length and weighing between 50 to 400 kg. They are found all over the Galapagos Islands and are incredibly curious especially when you meet them in the water!
