Penguins Can Read!!

King Penguin

If there was any doubt whether penguins could or could not read I think that this photo answers the question!

King’s are the second largest species of penguin and grow to be about 90cm tall and can weigh up to 35lbs. They eat small fish and squid and are less relient on krill than any of the other penguin species.

Volunteer Point where the photo is taken is a headland on the east coast of East Falkland situated to the north east of Port Stanley and has about 500 King Penguins settled there. This represents the main population of Kings in the Falklands, although some can be seen on Saunders Island, Pebble Island and Sea Lion Island as well.
